About YouthBuild

YouthBuild is a youth development program that simultaneously addresses fundamental challenges facing local communities related to physical infrastructure, education, employment, crime prevention, and leadership development. YouthBuild is a comprehensive program that integrates school, work, counseling, social action, leadership development, and personal transformation. The holistic, integrated program design allows young people to acquire essential basic math and literacy skills, practice life and employment readiness skills, while creating tangible community assets such as housing, community centers, reforested land, water systems, and play areas. Young people acquire skills that both align with the demands of the workforce, and position them for success as entrepreneurs.
